Linger Over Casual Caribbean Fare at Ferdinand’s in Grand Cayman

I had already relished a fantastic dinner at Beach House, the more upscale of the two restaurants at the Westin hotel adjacent to Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. The next night, happily fatigued from a day of cycling and swimming, I decided to return to the more casual Ferdinand’s Caribbean Café, where an informal atmosphere negates the need to dress up and unhurried service accommodates your need to unwind and enjoy the view. Fine Dining on the Beach in Grand Cayman

Every night, after a late afternoon swim in the Caribbean Sea and yet another glorious sunset, I would walk past the beachfront Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa on my way back to my hotel across the street and note the very satisfied customers enjoying dinner at the hotel’s Beach House restaurant. “A Rare Steakhouse, Very Well Done” in Grand Cayman

That clever slogan of Copper Falls Steakhouse in the Seven Mile Beach section of Grand Cayman proved to be very apt. After several nights of fantastic seafood dinners, I was ready for a bit of beef, and this establishment had caught my eye a few days earlier when I purchased some staples for the week at the huge (and blissfully cold) supermarket across the street. Framed by white lights, the inviting restaurant lured me back for a meal that was, indeed, very well done. Read more >
